Up Next NY empowers young progressives to run for and win elected positions in New York City and State by contributing directly to candidates, endorsing, and mobilizing volunteers.
Specifically, we support young millennial and Gen-Z candidates seeking or already in elected office.
Currently, Gen Z (1997+) represents over 20% of the population but has far less representation in the NY City Council and NY State Legislature.
Political representation shapes policy. By giving a diverse slate of young candidates access to funding, we will create a more progressive and representative government.
