House Dems are looking into any and all ways to win back the House majority this November. A key strategy to do so is to win key open seats like Illinois's 9th congressional district, which is currently held by Democratic incumbent Rep. Jan Schakowsky. Rep. Schakowsky, who has served this district since 1999, will not be seeking reelection this cycle. Ensuring a Democrat wins this long-held Democratic seat is a critical priority. With this in mind, Illinois state legislator and Mayor Daniel Biss has entered this race with the hopes of keeping IL-09 blue and also to win back the House majority. V4P PAC has not yet endorsed in this race.
