V4P PAC for Rep. Dave Min

House Democrats need to take back the majority in 2026 - and the first step is to protect all incumbents, including Rep. Dave Min (CA-47).

Rep. Min was elected to Congress to represent California's 47th district in  2024. Prior to his time in Congress, Min served atthe Securities and Exchange Commission before becoming a policy advisor for Sen. Chuck Schumer and the Center for American Progress. He returned to California in 2012 to join the UC Irvine School of Law faculty. He was inspired to run for California’s State legislature during Donald Trump’s first presidency. In 2020, Min flipped State Senate seat 37 blue, which is based in Orange County, becoming the first Democrat to represent this area in modern times. Rep. Min ran in CA-47 when former Rep. Katie Porter vacated the seat to run for the Senate.

California’s 47th Congressional District is based in Orange County and contains Irvine, Huntington Beach, Costa Mesa, Newport Beach, and Seal Beach. Ahead of the 2022 race, this district changed under the redistricting process. The newly renumbered CA-47 seat, numbered CA-45 under the old lines. In the 2024 race, Rep. Min faced off and ultimately defeated Republican challenger Scott Baugh by 2 points (10,167 votes). During the 2024 cycle, Min raised $6.7 million, and his opponent, Baugh, raised $4 million. More than a dozen super PACs, national party committees, politically active nonprofits, and other non-candidate groups together spent more than $24 million. This is Rep. Min’s first time seeking reelection in this district.
