Rep. Lee has been the U.S. House Representative for Nevada’s 3rd congressional district since 2019. Prior to Congress, Lee worked and managed non-profits in the Las Vegas area. Additionally, Lee was the founding director of the Inner-City Games and also served as president of Communities in Schools of Nevada. As the Representative for Nevada’s 3rd congressional district, Rep. Lee serves the area south of Las Vegas, including Henderson City, Boulder City, and much of unincorporated Clark County. Redistricting in 2022 made the swingy 3rd district bluer, with the new boundaries encompassing parts of Las Vegas. 

In the 2024 race, Rep. Lee ran against Republican policy analyst and former think tank founder, Drew Johnson. Johnson faced a crowded primary for this race, defeating 5 opponents to become the GOP nominee. Ultimately, Rep. Lee defeated Drew Johnson by almost 3 percentage points (10,220 votes).. During the 2024 cycle, Rep. Susie Lee raised more than $6 million, and her opponent, Drew Johnson raised $1.5 million. Super PACs, national party committees, and other non-candidate groups together spent more than $1.8 million.
