Virginia State Senator Suhas Subramanyam winning Jennifer Wexton's seat in Congress (YAY!) started a chain of events that leaves two open seats in the Virginia Assembly, one in the state senate (SD-32) and one in the house of delegates (HD-26), both of which are up for a vote on January 7th. While these are reliably blue seats, the low turn out of special elections means anything can happen. And with Trump and Youngkin pushing the Project 2025 agenda, our slim legislative majorities have never been more important. Please come if you can, give if you can't. Much appreciated!
