Get to Know Dr. Nila


Dr. Nila Devanath is a Harvard-trained attorney and Yale-trained doctor, who grew up here in Hampton Roads and now serves the community as an acute care hospital doctor. She's worked at the DOJ, CDC, and Planned Parenthood on policy at the national level on immigration, education and healthcare. She not only has policy making experience, but also experience working with the people affected by those policies on the ground.


Dr. Nila is running as a progressive for Congress in the upcoming Democratic primary election to be the first woman of color and first person of color to represent Virginia's Second Congressional District!


Please support her in representing our community as a new progressive voice for Virginia and District 2. Early voting begins next month!
