Virginia Wins with Women in 2023
Virginia is the last southern state to protect a woman's right to choose. The 2023 General Assembly elections are upon us and all 140 seats in both chambers on the ballot. Virginia Democrats have fielded a record number of women candidates for the House of Delegates and State Senate. Over half the Democratic nominees are women and the most racially, ethnically, and geographically diverse group to run. The 2023 women running for office this year are truly reflective of who Virginia is.
