Make Election Day a Holiday
Most non-voters say that they simply do not have time to vote due to work or school conflicts.
Having the right to vote is only useful if we have the time to vote. Can you chip in $3 or more to fund our efforts to make Election Day a holiday?
With ElectionDay.org, we're asking business leaders to step up and make Election Day a company holiday. And it’s working: In the 2018 midterm election, over 350 companies gave their employees paid time off to vote, empowering over 250,000 employees.
No one should have to choose between working and voting. If we want to achieve the highest turnout for a presidential election in US history in 2020, we need to keep pushing for Election Day as a holiday.
