Makayla Venable is running for delegate to bring a new generation of leadership to the Shenandoah Valley.
As a working class activist and lifelong Staunton-Augusta -Waynesboro resident, Makayla knew she could serve her community in another way — one that could transform it for the better. With her background in community healthcare, Makayla will be able to use her experience to tackle the problems facing the 36th District head on. Whether it be addiction, housing insecurity, childhood poverty, or insufficient mental health resources, Makayla will be able to draft people focused legislation where the incumbent Republican delegate has failed to.
By becoming an early supporter of the campaign, you will help Makayla purchase literature, develop a website, and secure her place on the ballot for this June’s Democratic primary. After that, we’ll be taking the fight directly to the door of the Republicans who have failed to effectively serve their communities, starting directly with Del. Ellen Campbell.
