The Vermont Senate Democrats faced devastating losses in our elections this year - we lost 6 crucial seats to the Republican Party. Simply put: Democrats no longer hold our supermajority in the Senate. We desperately cannot afford to lose any more seats - and we need your support to uplift our message and to advance our policy goals. We can’t let Republicans continue to spread misinformation about the Clean Heat Act or the Yield Bill - we need to set the record straight. 

We also will have a harder time passing key legislation for investments in public education, climate resiliency, and affordable health care. We’re counting on Governor Scott and our Republican colleagues to help us find future solutions and compromise so we can deliver for our state. 

We plan to do our absolute best to protect Vermont from the impact of the upcoming Trump administration.
