Dan Patrick's THC & Hemp Ban in Effect in Texas

Delta-8. Delta-10. THCa flower. As of July 31, possessing any of it in Texas is a state jail felony up to two years in prison and a $10,000 fine.



Here's the part that should bother you, no matter what you think about THC: the Legislature never passed this ban, but Dan Patrick pushed it through anyway.


Now 14,000 licensed small businesses have had to pull 60 to 90 percent of their inventory. A veteran managing PTSD gets two options: the illegal market, or nothing. And Texas taxpayers get to fund the prison beds.
