Vichal’s drive to politics comes from these individual experiences.
The son of working-class immigrant parents, Vichal dedicated his life to public service, spending 20 years delivering impactful legal and social services for New Yorkers and nationally. Through success in the toughest environments, Vichal believes our broken systems can - and must - be reimagined to serve our communities.
Vichal will fight to dismantle ICE, empower workers and guarantee healthcare. Vichal embodies the next generation of leaders: those who did the work, learned the lessons, and will govern with urgency and purpose to transform lives.
