The Great VMFC Road Trip

The VMF caucus is hitting the road! We are embarking on an outreach project that includes visiting all 33 New Mexico counties in the next 6-9 months. As a statewide organization we believe it is important to connect with, and learn the needs of, our rural and urban veterans and their families regardless of which community they live in. We want to meet in person and amplify their voices so we may best advocate for them during the NM legislative sessions and at every other possible opportunity.


Several VMFC members will be driving to the far corners of our large and beautiful state representing all of us in the caucus and we'd like to assist them with fuel and lodging expenses. Our Bylaws do not cover using your annual dues and donations in this manner. We will be frugal stewards of your contribution by car-pooling, minimizing overnight stays, and doubling up at hotels. We very much appreciate your support and hope to see you at our gatherings.

Contribution rules

  1. I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
  2. I am at least eighteen years old.
  3. This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
