Jennifer Adams is running to represent Florida’s 7th Congressional District - her hometown - a place she lives, knows and loves!

Jennifer grew up in Central Florida, and as a native Floridian who spent her youth traveling the state to play competitive sports and participate in the Olympic Development Program, she has a special appreciation for the diverse people and beautiful places of this great state and congressional district. Today, Jennifer Adams is a mom, small business owner, policy educator and purpose-driven leader raising her own children here.

Jennifer Adams' tenacity is not only learned, it’s inherited. Both of her grandfathers proudly served in the military; her mom is a former elementary school teacher; and her dad was the first scholarship-receiving football player to graduate with an architectural degree from the University of Florida.

With more than 15 years of experience in community engagement, legislative policymaking, legal research, communications and conflict resolution, Jennifer utilizes a forward-thinking approach that emphasizes partnerships and collaboration to identify successful solutions to complex challenges.

Jennifer Adams understands that our nation is at a crossroads and, as a parent, is running for Congress to ensure all families and Floridians have access to economic opportunity, quality education, living wage jobs and the same freedoms she enjoyed growing up in Central Florida and this country.

Jennifer has a passion for creating value for all in our community and believes one of our most precious resources for the future are our youth. Having survived domestic abuse and the devastation it wreaks on victims’ and their families’ lives, she knows what it means to overcome adversity.

With her resiliency, policy knowledge, proven leadership and ability to find common ground, she understands how to improve processes and policy and work across the aisle to pass productive bipartisan legislation — she’s already proven it’s possible here in Florida!
