For years, we have watched police harm the very people they swore to protect and serve, most notably with the murder of George Floyd. At the very least, The People should be able to hold these officers accountable for their actions. That's why we must pass Proposal #7 - it will grant increased powers to an independent body of community members to review the conduct of the Albany Police Department, and hold them accountable.
