My name is AJ Foster, and I’m proud to be running for a seat on the Saint Louis Public School (SLPS) Board of Education. As a 2016 SLPS graduate, I am committed to ensuring that every child in our city has the opportunity to succeed—no matter their background or zip code.


Public education is the backbone of opportunity and equity in our society. It's where students discover their potential, build their futures, and learn the value of community and perseverance. But this system faces unprecedented challenges-- challenges that require bold, collaborative, and forward-thinking leadership.


As a candidate for the Saint Louis Public Schools (SLPS) Board of Education, I am committed to exploring long-term, systemic solutions that directly address our district's challenges, like student achievement, retirement and pension funding, procurement, and more. Our students and staff need more than short-term fixes; crafting a SUSTAINABLE vision for our schools will benefit all Saint Louis residents for generations.

 

Contribution rules

  1. I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
  2. This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
  3. I am at least eighteen years old.
  4. I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person.
  5. This contribution is not from a corporation or labor organization.
  6. I will disclose to the recipient of my contribution any contract I have with the political subdivision of Missouri to which the recipient of my contribution is seeking election.
