Chad Halvorsen for Alderman

Greetings friends, my name is Chad Halvorsen and I'm running for Alderman in West Allis (District 2)!

I pondered renting a Delorean so I could take a peek at Spring election results, but apparently Deloreans are not capable of time-travel. I would argue that the real life documentary "Back to the Future" refutes these claims.

In all seriousness, I'm running for Alder because I want to help West Allis continue to grow. My wife and I moved here in 2011 and we've seen the changes first-hand. We have a diverse community that is growing because of new businesses, entertainment/leisure venues, and young families. All contributing to what makes West Allis awesome.

We have issues just like any other city (if you have any specific examples, please send them my way), but currently It's hard for many individuals and families to find affordable housing. There's also a rodent problem. Our streets have pot holes to be filled and some citizens seem to think that speed limits are mere suggestions. We will always have problems to solve, and that's why I want to be your Alder. To solve problems.
