Support Will Dickerson For Boston City Council District 4

Will has a pulse on the community in which he serves. By divine providence, his passage into activism and civic engagement began at an early age through his Dad, Bishop William E. Dickerson II. Therein birthed a passion for establishing his present course in life as a bridge-builder. Having grown up in Boston's inner city, he's been able to view it from a personal lens, which captures the heart of what its' inhabitants need most. With concern, empathy, and determination to bring change to a district embattled by years of despair; he endeavors to carry on other great leaders' legacies by transforming District 4 into a more innovative community. 

Will spent his initial years as a youth peer leader and later locked into the Dunk the Vote initiative, which squarely focused on greater voter participation. Sensing a demand for better representation, he traversed into supporting other initiatives to include working as a Constituent Service Director in the office of Boston City Councilor, Michael Flaherty. 

Operating in the trenches taught him the value of sweat equity, as carrying an entire community upon one's shoulders. Reaching out to hurting families soon became his inspiration and a burden to ensure they received the necessary resources. Notwithstanding the challenges of COVID-19, he has also actively engaged in community outreach by providing food to those afflicted with the virus in Dorchester and Mattapan areas. These are just a few highlights, but they display Will's unique position to help change the community. District 4 holds a conglomerate of promise, and Will stands entrenched to be that bridge to help release it.
