In 2020, we were only one of six state legislative campaigns in the country to flip a seat from red to blue. In 2022, we held this seat by 10 points, despite the red wave that swept other areas of our state. When people asked us what we did to be so successful at the polls, we had a very simple answer: Our Job. By being transparent, responsive and hard working throughout our first term, we built trust and a reputation for honesty, compassion and dependability. And we have continued to make those values central to our work in the State Assembly.
