Shadia is fighting for the most flippable seat in the Michigan State House. Michigan Democrats hold a one-seat majority, which means that the 54th State House District (Bloomfield Hills, Bloomfield Twp, Auburn Hills, Lake Orion, and Oakland Twp) could be the deciding seat for control.
