Boost Voter Turnout in Key Congressional Districts

Raising voter turnout in competitive House elections will create a more representative democracy and could determine the priorities of the next Congress. Much of the work of catalyzing higher voter turnout is non-partisan and can be supported by tax-deductible donations. These 501(c)(3) organizations are all engaged in voter engagement work in swing districts:


CA-13, 22, and 41

Communities for a New California Education Fund is a grassroots organizing group that works to engage and empower historically marginalized voters.


CA-45

Orange County Civic Engagement Table engages and empowers AAPI and Latino voters as part of a long-term progressive transformation of Orange County.  


CO-3

New Era Colorado is the largest youth civic engagement group in the state. It has a strong record of engaging and mobilizing young voters.


MI-10

Michigan United is the largest community organizing group in the state. It works in MI-10, as well as other contested districts in Michigan.


MT-1

Forward Montana Foundation, the c3 arm of the largest youth power-building organization in the state.


NE-2

The Nebraska Civic Engagement Table is funding organizing and get-out-the-vote work in Omaha and other areas in NE-2.


NJ-7

Action Together New Jersey Education Fund works year-round to educate, engage, and empower voters in New Jersey. Make the Road New Jersey is a grassroots organizing group focusing on turning out Latino and new citizen voters.
