Run, Reez, Run!
Reez Bailey is running for alder in Madison's 4th, and we need your help to get another young progressive candidate in the Madison Common Council.
Madison's 4th is one of the most diverse and beautiful parts of the city, housing the Kohl Center, the Overture Center for the Arts, the Madison Public Library, the Capitol, and State St. The heart of Madison lies in District 4 and as the city becomes more vibrant, inclusive, and forward-minded, young people's voices are necessary in the conversation. Reez is running to address the issues Madison faces head-on, ensuring a brighter future for the city like:
- Addressing food insecurity and rising socioeconomic inequalities by building a public food bank and homeless shelter in District 4 while defending fair housing prices within Madison
- Rethinking how the city views justice and safety when distributing resources to communities and investigating the role of police in our city
- Protecting a citizen's right to clean water, clean air, and clean energy
- Establishing an Economic Bill of Rights within the city outlining the protections granted to each citizen of Madison
