Help Ensure Hurricane Victims Can Cast Their Ballots

We are putting out a Voter SOS and reaching out to those voters who were impacted by Hurricanes Helene and Milton to ensure that their ballot is cast for this critical election.

The Southern Outreach Support project leverages phone banking, texting, and targeted device-specific advertising to ensure that everyone impacted and displaced by these storms knows where and how they can vote in person or by mail.

The voters in counties hit by these storms are, understandably, returning their ballots at a lower rate than others across the country. In Tampa Bay - which was impacted by both storms - the rate of mail ballot return is nearly twenty points lower than the rest of the state. But there is still time to help.
