It's official! 🎉 On Monday, January 22, 2024, I officially filed to run for Ramsey County Commissioner District 7, which consists of Maplewood, North Saint Paul, and White Bear Lake. Surrounded by the love of my mother, sisters, fiancé, nieces, nephews, friends, and dedicated colleagues, I am ready to make a positive impact!
As a young woman of color, I did not make the decision to run for public office lightly. It is urgent and imperative that in our democracy, we have diversity in leadership and that our leaders care about the people they serve and are committed to uplifting everyone from the bottom up. I’m excited to hit the ground running in doing this work. The early support garnered for my campaign is a testament to my leadership. I am humbled and eager to earn even more support from fellow neighbors, community leaders, and elected officials along the campaign trail.
My Vision: We all have access to the essentials for thriving, such as food, housing, water, and transportation. We all have access to opportunities regardless of race, gender, socioeconomic status, age, and ability. We live in safe, sustainable, and stable communities.
Each supporter can donate up to $600 in 2024 and $1200 as a couple.
Together, let’s make history, all the while ensuring we continue having a strong people’s champion for racial, economic, gender, and climate justice representing our home, Ramsey County District 7!
