Miguel Valente is running for the Sangamon County Board, District 18, to bring innovative changes and enhance residents' quality of life. He proudly served in the Army National Guard as a Water Treatment Specialist. Raised in a Mexican immigrant family, Miguel understands the importance of advocating for low-income and minority communities. He aims to be proactive and accessible to all residents.
At 25, he's the only U.S. veteran and Latino candidate in the race.
