Morris County Democratic Committee (NJ)

DEFEND VOTING RIGHTS!

Voting rights are under attack by Republicans in Morris County. In Mendham Township, the losing Republican candidate filed an election contest trying to disenfranchise 33 voters, mostly under the age of 30. During the brief trial, they introduced no credible evidence, and his own attorney asked for a voluntary dismissal. Democracy won the day, but we can't rest on this success.

This reckless attack mirrors what we have seen at the national level, and we must be prepared to fight back. We need to support voting rights and prevent further expensive election challenges all across Morris County. We must protect young voters and encourage their participation. We need to ensure running for office is accessible to all, without the intimidation of baseless court battles. Help us defend voting rights for all!
