Amidst the madness of the second Trump term, here at VSA, we're staying focused and we're doing what we've always done: directing peoples' time, attention, and money where they'll have the biggest impact - and that includes our Anxiety Relief Program.


Bit of history: We started this program in 2024 and called it the Anxiety Relief Program. And now our anxiety has been relieved and everything is totally fine, right?? Unfortunately, no.


But we raised $4.5M+ and supported dozens of grassroots organizations across the country. 


We’re evolving the Anxiety Relief Program to meet this moment by doubling down on what worked while making some important changes:


  • Continued grassroots grants: Supporting local organizations that empower marginalized communities under threat by Trump and that protect our democracy.
  • Expanding VSA programs: Funding essential organizing initiatives like building long-term volunteer infrastructure 
  • Strategic investments: Focusing on electoral wins for 2026 and beyond by supporting organizations working on increasing Democratic voter registration, and direct voter contact methods, as well as key candidates.
