Walgreens proposed using a tax gimmick called "inversion" to avoid US taxes. Even though they started here, manage their company from here and make virtually all their money here, they were going to declare themselves Swiss!
Thanks to your efforts and over 200,000 petitions to the company, they have backed. down. That shows we have power.
But the fight goes on. We need to keep pressure on the media, the President and Congress to take measures to prevent it to close the loophole. We need to discourage other companies from trying what Walgreens almost did. Your donation is key to making this happen.
