18th Ward Democrats Primary Prom

The night is dark, the stakes are high, and Primary Prom is back - with a Gothic twist! Join us as we embrace the shadows and kick off the primary election season in true elegantly macabre style.


The 18th Ward Democrats, with support from Riverwards Area Democrats and Philadelphia Democratic Veterans Caucus, host this event to connect candidates with their constituents - because democracy, like the best gothic tales, thrives on passion and participation. Your support helps fuel our get out the vote efforts, including voter registration, education, mailings, multiple literature drops, canvassing, community engagement, and Election Day operations.


We’ll provide the food & drinks - you bring your most delightfully dark energy. 🌑


We can't wait to see you from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 1st at the Black Squirrel Club (1049 Sarah St, Philadelphia, PA 19125).


TICKET PRICING INFO:

  • 🖤 Candidates: $500 (Bring your petitions - lest they vanish into the abyss!)
  • 🖤 Elected Officials: $250
  • 🖤 General Public & Committee People: $5
  • 🖤 Raffle Tickets: $5


💀 Dress Code: Semi-formal with a gothic flair - whether you channel a Victorian specter, a brooding vampire, or a creature of the night, make it dark and make it dramatic.
