Way to Lead leverages organized money to ensure that communities have candidate champions who, once elected, govern to push the boundaries of what’s politically possible. We support federal, state, and local candidates who are building a more reflective democracy and creating a multiracial populism that advances gender equality and the sustainability of our planet.

By supporting candidates with a bold vision at every level of government, and in Democratic primaries, we affect state and national policies. We center communities as the source of change by supporting PACs and issue campaigns that are affiliated with national and state-based community organizations. And by supporting effective narrative campaigns, we hope to also move hearts and minds through messaging that focuses on a just vision for the future.
