Let's raise the roof!

Please help us repair our roof. Our headquarters is a historic building in downtown Bluffton.


We are one of the fortunate Democratic party groups that has its own building to meet in.  We have 

monthly meetings every second Friday and weekly meetings on Tuesdays.


The history of our building goes back to 1838 when the original plat for Bluffton was recorded.  

John Brandon bought the location for $51.  It changed hands through the years and became a 

grocery in 1876, a tin shop in 1885, a saloon in 1890, a grocery again in 1912, Dr. Louis 

Severin’s office in 1917, a furniture shop in 1936, Bertsch’s jewelry shop in 1953, Kay and 

Kathy’s Beauty Salon in 1979 and the Democrat Building in 2001.
