Join the Workers Center

The Workers Center is a democratically run community hub that offers resources and services to workers in the Athens, Georgia area.

We want to make sure every worker with a need for support has access to support; therefore, we need to begin to build the capacity of the Workers Center. Our goal is to recruit 300 dues-paying members by 2024. 

A worker who needs assistance from the Workers Center will never be turned away because of an inability to pay dues.

Your commitment to the Workers Center will contribute to changing the landscape of the way workers and labor are viewed in Athens and the surrounding areas.

Your membership entitles you to:

• access to trainings + workshops
• access to legal advice and, in come cases, legal representation
• access to our research team
• support from state and national organizations
• case management for wage theft and discrimination in the workplace
• help with OSHA violation complaints
• union development & collective bargaining

In addition, as a Member, you have a say in the future of the Workers Center. As the Workers Center builds capacity, the growth and planning will meet the needs of the Worker-Members.
