Each year, Wilson County Schools accrue thousands in lunch debt leaving parents stressing at the end of the year and the school carrying the financial burden. We know nearly 40% of kids are on free and reduced lunch in our school system. We also know that if students eat and have their basic needs met, they are able to achieve better outcomes. Our commitment to public schools is unwavering, and we invite the public to join us, Brittany Ash (School Board Zone 5 Candidate), Derrick Hammond (Property Assessor Candidate), Ailina Carona (District 57 Candidate) and Joni Cochran (District 46 Candidate) in donating to help pay off lunch debt throughout Wilson County.
