Westside Democratic HQ is teaming up with Marni's campaign to win a House seat that can decide the majority.
On Monday, Trump said: "Let them take out Los Angeles. Let them take out San Diego." Southern California deserves a representative who will stand up for it.
Marni von Wilpert is a San Diego City Councilmember and the Democrat running to flip California's 48th District. Westside Democratic HQ is teaming up with her campaign to win it. Last Thursday, Marni joined us at our Main Street Midterm HQ for a lunch with former Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff.
In 2024, our 10,000 volunteers helped flip three California House seats, and in 2025 they made over a million calls to pass Prop 50. We have since grown to 15,000+ volunteers, and now we are getting them down to CA-48 to talk to voters.
This is projected to be one of the tightest races in the country, and all funds raised will go towards Get Out the Vote efforts for Marni this fall, including our WDHQ weekend canvass trip to Escondido on October 17-18!
