Westside Democratic HQ invites you to join us for a Labor Awards ceremony to honor the significant contributions of unions to our country & celebrate the grand opening of our in-person community campaign center on Main Street in Venice/Santa Monica!

Come enjoy a Saturday summer evening with fellow Democratic volunteers as we prepare to take back Congress and slam the brakes on Trump's agenda.

At our 2024 Labor Awards ceremony, we were honored to recognize the work of the following leaders:

• Darrell Redleaf, Board of Trustee and Bargaining committee member for IATSE Local 706, the Make-Up Artists and Hairstylists Guild, and Emmy-nominated, MUA&H award-winning hairstylist to the stars

• Mark Ramos, Western States Council President for the United Food and Commercial Workers (UFCW), and Chair of the Los Angeles County Democratic Party

We literally emptied the bank account for the '24 election, and we were able to scrape by in '25 and remain active by helping pass Prop. 50 in CA and win races in Wisconsin, Virginia, and elsewhere because of your generous support.

In 2025, WDHQ volunteers distributed tens of thousands of postcards & stamps, made over 1 million phone calls, and knocked on over 100,000 doors!

In order to remain active in our canvassing, phonebanking, postcarding, and other volunteer campaign efforts, we must completely replenish the six-figure budget that it takes to operate a brick-and-mortar campaign HQ for the 2026 Midterm Elections!

The entire WDHQ leadership team is composed of unpaid volunteers. Each dollar raised goes directly towards funding WDHQ's voter outreach and volunteer mobilization efforts.

We held them to the smallest majority in over 100 years in '24, and now we CAN do more in 2026 because of the ground game foundation we set in '25!

👩‍❤️‍👩 In 2024, Together we:

• Won 4 of the most competitive Congressional races, including 3 flips (bucking the rest of the country's conservative trend)
• Made over 2 million calls
• Sent more than 200 volunteers to battleground states
• Knocked on over 100,000 CA doors and 20,000 battleground doors
• Sent more than 100,000 postcards
• Distributed over 500 lawn signs in battleground states
• Sent over 3 million texts

💑 Possibly the most important thing we did was build community both within our group as well as with other activist groups to create a safe place to turn anxiety into action. 💖
