Wear Orange 2017 in Honor of Keith Person
Dear One,
Everytown for Gun Safety is having their annual fundraiser to benefit their violence prevention advocacy programs, called Wear Orange. Our Washington State Chapter will receive 25% of every dollar we raise, to be used for education and lobbying support materials
Please donate to the WEAR ORANGE campaign in honor of Hadiya Pendleton, a bright 15-year-old high school student who was killed by gunfire in her hometown of Chicago and for all the innocent victims of the U.S. gun violence epidemic. Hadiya's friends started Wear Orange (the color hunters wear for safety) and its grown into an annual event across the nation each year in early June. I'm proud to march with Everytown across San Francisco's Golden Gate bridge June 3rd, it will be a sea of orange.
