I Wear Orange in honor and memory of my son Joshua, who was killed by a fatal gunshot to the head in 2008, Wearing Orange honors the victims, the survivors, and brings awareness to gun violence. Orange is bright an bold & it demands to be seen. So wear yours! #WearOrange
We all want our families and communities safer, Orange isn't about taking sides or a gun debate. We all have a role to play, and a voice to use (big or small) We all can make a difference - Wearing Orange is a simple act, yet powerful one.
Gun Violence can happen to anyone, at anytime, in any town. I never believed it would my family, but that's why I am involved. Although gun violence took my son, it will not take his spirit or the unity Wear Orange Brings! As a part of the Everytown Survivor Network I am able to share Joshua's story, talk to other survivors, and communities about gun safety issues. Everytown provides Research and funding for programs like BeSmart; a program to educate about gun safety and reduce child deaths, and the Survivor Network- training survivors of gun violence to become advocates .
If everyone could donate just $15, or $25 I could reach my goal in honor of Joshua and help reduce gun deaths
