At La Colaborativa, we promise our members that no matter what challenge they face, we will do Whatever it Takes to support them. From homelessness and hunger to stable homes, healthy meals, good jobs, and good health. Stabilizing and uplifting our community through ongoing and increasing crises is no small task, and we need your help. Together we will continue to create transformational change for thousands of families, always delivered with love, dignity, and respect.

During the pandemic, we launched significant expansions to our work on the ground! Our team is growing, our menu of programs and services is expanding, and we are continuing to implement our Whatever it Takes approach. In November 2023, we opened our doors to the La Colaborativa's Survival Center, an intergenerational hub for our community to access essential life stabilizing and economically mobilizing services and resources in one trusted place. With 28,000 square feet of dedicated state-of-the-art community space, we are excited to continue delivering empowering services that are transformative for our community members and their families. In 2025, La Colaborativa become the largest Emergency Assistance shelter operator in the state, serving over 3,000 families during its tenure, and achieving the highest job and housing placement rates of the EA shelter system.

Since the closure of "La Casita", La Colaborativa has returned staff to our core services, and we continue to meet the community at the moment we are in. Wether addressing federal cuts to SNAP, ICE activity causing unerollment from schools, increasing wage theft, or helping a mother move on from domestic violence; La Colaborativa will always do Whatever It Takes to Stabilize, Uplift, and Empower our community.
