Support Marlene Galán-Woods
Marlene Galan Woods will give Democrats the best opportunity to win Arizona’s 1st District, but she needs help to make it through her July 21 primary.
Arizona’s 1st District is one of the best pick up opportunities anywhere in the country this cycle. It is an open seat and considered a toss up by every ratings agency, and it has an independent streak. In 2024, it voted for Trump by 3 points while Sen. Ruben Gallego won it by 5 points.
Marlene has what it takes to win this district. She recently signed the Promise to America, staking her campaign on a centrist results focused brand of politics that is needed to win in a purple seat like this one. Partner organizations, like the New Dems, have recently endorsed Marlene, and earlier this week Senator Mark Kelly endorsed Marlene.
This primary is tough, close and contested. And, it will decide whether Democrats have a real shot at flipping this seat in November. Marlene is the strongest general election candidate in this field
