Our mission is to expand access to mental health care and essential resources for women, men, children, youth, and families experiencing poverty or systemic barriers to care —locally in NYC and globally in countries such as the Dominican Republic, Colombia, Ghana, Jamaica.
Through our partnership with our team at Minette Psychotherapy, the Foundation will help cover the cost of services for children, youth, and adult who are uninsured or unable to afford care—including Autism diagnostic evaluations and mental health therapy. We are deeply committed to supporting the well-being of providers working with these communities by offering professional development trainings and wellness/self-care events that strengthen trauma-informed systems of support across sectors.
Through partnerships with our team at Minette Psychotherapy, community organizations, volunteers, clinicians and educators, the Minette Foundation will foster healing, reduce stigma, strengthen provider well-being, and create pathways to care across borders.
