Dear friends,
I’m running for State Senate because this is a defining moment for California.
Your support today helps us build a campaign that meets this moment and protects our communities from what’s coming next.
We win from the bottom up — friend by friend, contribution by contribution.
I’m committed to leadership that comes not from the left or the right, but from the bottom up — grounded in community, the dignity of work, and real results. But our campaign can’t do it without you.
Here’s what I’m running to deliver:
Tackling the cost of living crisis — from housing to utilities to everyday necessities — so families aren’t forced out of the communities they call home.
Protecting and expanding Medi-Cal, Medicare, and essential services — especially as Trump-era attacks threaten healthcare access for seniors, children, immigrants, and low-income families.
Building deeply affordable housing, preventing displacement, and keeping renters and working families rooted in their neighborhoods.
Investing in transit, roads, and climate-ready infrastructure that connects communities, creates good jobs, and strengthens our economy.
Creating real pathways into the middle class through job training, apprenticeships, and workforce programs tied to today’s economy.
Supporting entrepreneurs and neighborhood businesses — especially those shut out of traditional capital — so local economies can thrive.
Standing up to Trump-style assaults on public education, civil rights, immigrants, workers, and constitutional protections — and making California a firewall for justice and dignity.
California is the fifth-largest economy in the world - BUT DO YOU FEEL LIKE YOU’RE BENEFITING FROM THAT?
We have the power — and the responsibility — to lead with courage, protect our people, and prove government can still work for working families.
I’m committed to leadership that comes not from the left or right, from the bottom up — grounded in community, dignity of work, and real results.
If you can, please contribute today and help us cross this critical year-end deadline strong.
With gratitude,
Wendy
