I'm running for Vermont House, Addison-2— representing Cornwall, Goshen, Leicester, Ripton, and Salisbury— because I am passionate about strengthening our schools, communities, environment, and economy, so that they are flourishing, sustainable, and work for all Vermonters . Too often, the important fabric of our small, Vermont, rural communities is taken for granted or even cast aside in the pursuit of more centralized governance. I appreciate attempts at efficiency and fiscal stewardship, yet it cannot happen on the backs and vibrancy of our small town communities.

I care deeply about moving this brave little state safely and confidently into the future while preserving the character of Vermont’s roots. I will champion our small towns, ensuring their voices aren’t overpowered by shire towns. Vermont’s towns and villages are the fabric of what makes Vermont a truly wonderful place to live, work, and raise a family.

As a woman who grew up in a single-parent household and who now has children of her own, I understand the struggles of working families. I am inspired daily by my pragmatic, compassionate, hard-working fellow Vermonters, and I see this as an opportunity not only to represent this district in Montpelier, but to actively collaborate with the constituents of these communities. I have the resourcefulness, persistence, and optimism to come up with creative solutions, and together we can find far-sighted answers to today’s challenges. I am here to hold up each and every one of our communities, and I hope you'll join my campaign to raise our voices together.
