If you are experiencing financial hardship, you may request a one-year dues waiver by emailing your full name, birthday, and address to westsideyd@gmail.com.
Contribution rules
- I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
- This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
- I am at least eighteen years old.
Membership terms
The following conditions apply to all those paying dues with the intention of becoming voting members, i.e. "Members in Good Standing," of the Westside Young Democrats per its bylaws ratified on May 17, 2023.
- To be a member, you must be aged 14 to 35 and be registered as a Democrat if you are eligible to register to vote.
- Your membership will begin four days (96 hours) following your contribution.
- If you submit dues for a lifetime membership, your membership will expire at 12:01 a.m. on your 36th birthday.
- If you pay dues for an annual membership, it will expire 369 days following the date of contribution.
- Membership privileges are enumerated in the Westside Young Democrats bylaws, which may be requested at any time by emailing westsideyd@gmail.com.
