Somos Salud is a health justice initiative led by Alianza Americas, Presente.org, and Alianza Americas member organizations, to keep Latinx/Latin American and migrant communities safe and healthy during the COVID-19 pandemic. We believe 2021 can be the year that we remember all who were lost and impacted while also keeping each other safe on the road to recovery.
According to the CDC, wearing a mask is an effective way to prevent the transmission and contraction of COVID-19. Somos Salud is working with limited English proficiency Latinx/Latin American essential workers, their families, and communities to ensure everyone has information and access to testing, contact tracing, vaccination, and healthcare strategies.
