Help us get to the bottom of the mystery: "Where's Alfonso?"

Back in May, Republican Candidate and son-in-law of Trump DOT Secretary Sean Duffy posted a blatant lie on his Facebook Page claiming that Fred Clark "hates the Second Amendment". Michael Alfonso has no clue how Clark feels about the Second Amendment or how deep Clark's conservationist roots go.

Thinking Alfonso might be ready to come out from hiding behind his big-name backers, Clark challenged Alfonso to a debate and Alfonso responded, "Fred Clark, I'd love to. You have my number." Clark replied, "Alright Michael, we will be in touch."

For almost two months, Clark’s campaign has made multiple attempts to reach the Alfonso campaign via phone and email, with no response. Alfonso has continued to dodge Republican primary debates as well.

Where Alfonso HAS shown up has been road tripping across the country with his father in-law Sean Duffy on a corporate and taxpayer funded road trip that drew wide condemnation and an ethics complaint. Meanwhile, folks in the Northwoods watch gas prices climb, hurting tourism and their own summer plans.

It’s clear Michael is not ready to debate candidates for either party, even when he’s made a commitment to. Our new website, “Where’s Alfonso” is seeking help from residents of the 7th Congressional District in getting Alfonso to live up to his word and hold a debate - any debate!
