I'm Dan Whitten, and I'm running to be your next Porter County Commissioner because I believe in serving our community with integrity, hard work, and a vision for success that uplifts all residents.
As a lifelong Indiana resident, U.S. Army veteran, former police officer and public servant, I've spent my life protecting our families and fighting for the values that make our county special. Now, I'm taking that experience and passion for public service to the Commissioner's office.
My platform prioritizes enhancing public safety through community policing and supporting law enforcement. I'll be an environmental leader, promoting sustainable growth while conserving our parks and open spaces. I'm committed to supporting our veterans, attracting good jobs, improving infrastructure, and ensuring fiscal accountability.
