Will Merrifield is running for DC Council at-large in solidarity with a multitude of community leaders, organizers, and activists who are seeking to promote their economic interests in the political arena of the District of Columbia, a city that has long taken its cues from the profit-driven, private developers.
Your donation will power a grassroots movement to put people over profts and help elect Will.
We think big money in politics is a big problem, so we’re participating in DC’s new public financing program, refusing corporate contributions and only taking donations up to $100. If you’re a DC Resident, your donation will be matched 5:1.
Contribution rules
- I am at least eighteen years old.
- This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
- I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
- I am either a District of Columbia resident individual making a small-dollar contribution or a non-District of Columbia resident individual.
- I certify and affirm that this contribution is being made in my name and from my own funds.
- I am making this contribution voluntarily and I have not received anything of value in return for this contribution.
- I understand that making a false statement is a violation of the law.
- I hereby affirm that I was not, nor, to my knowledge, was anyone else, reimbursed in any manner for this contribution; that this contribution is not being made as a loan; and that this contribution is being made from my personal funds or my personal account, which has no corporate or business affiliation.
- I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person.
