Still Moving For Oneonta.

Allow me to re-introduce myself.

My name is Will Rivera. I grew up in public housing on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. I have lived in Oneonta for almost 20 years. In November 2025, you elected me the first Latino Town Supervisor in this town's history.

We won by 14 points. Together.

Oneonta belongs to the people who live here. Not to the ones who want to extract from it. Not to anyone cutting deals at the expense of working families.

That was the campaign. It is still the campaign. This November, we are asking for round two.

Six months in. Look at what we did.

We stopped predatory data centers.

The Town of Oneonta became one of the first municipalities in New York State to stand up to data center developers. Projects that would strain our electric grid and drive up energy costs for every family in this town. We drew a line. It held.

We made developers pay their own way.

We put expert review fees in place. When a corporation comes to town, they pay for the outside expertise needed to evaluate their project. Oneonta taxpayers should not be writing that check. Now they are not.

We invested in the West End.

We secured up to $40,000 from Empire State Development to launch a planning process for the West End. Community-centered development. Small businesses and residents first.

Six months. That is what governing looks like when working people are in charge.

The work is not done.

Rent does not stop going up because we won an election. Working families in this town still need someone in that seat who fights for them every single day — not someone who coasts after the win.

November 3 is coming. Campaigns are won or lost on resources.

This is your campaign.
