Join the Wilmington Democratic City Committee for our Annual Fish Fry fundraiser! We're back at the Kalmar Nyckel this year and are really looking forward to seeing our Committee Members, Elected Officials, and Democratic Friends. We're excited to award our Wilmington Award again this year. This award is given to honor extraordinary service to Wilmington and to the Wilmington Democrats. We're proud to present the award to former State Chair Betsy Maron, former WilmDems Treasurer Lynn Fuller (who was also Treasurer for Senator Margaret Rose Henry and Ruth Ann Minner), and Wilmington Democratic Party powerhouse, Lyn Doto and William Montgomery.
The fish dinner will be catered this year by Mitch's Mo'Better food truck (and will be delicious!), but we do have options of a chicken and a vegetarian meal as well. All will be served with a selection of great sides. Beer and wine will be available for $5.00. Non-alcoholic beverages are included with your meal. We ask that you choose your meal (just the main protein) in the post-donation box after you buy your tickets. That will help us have enough food for everyone. While prices have gone up everywhere, we've kept our pricing the same as last year -- for tickets and sponsorships.
This event will be held at the Kalmar Nyckel Foundation (2nd floor event room) from 1-3 p.m. on Saturday,August 9th. We are looking forward to seeing all of you!
