It is evident that elections have consequences. This is not only true at the national level but it also shows up at the local level. In May 2021, we supported a wonderful slate of progressive candidates that now represent our values at Central Oregon Community College, Bend La Pine Schools, and Bend Park and Recreation Department.
We must continue our efforts and win again in 2022 by helping the Deschutes County Democrats recruit, train, and support the best candidates we can field from Deschutes County Commissioner, to our House and Senate seats in Oregon, as well as a strong challenge to Congressman Bentz. We need to raise funds this year so that we can campaign effectively next year.
In order for us to truly take advantage of Democratic enthusiasm here in Deschutes, we will need your support. We don't see those big $2500 and $5000 checks like the other side, however, we can do this if we all pitch in together.
